It’s getting pretty late, and… surprise… I don’t have a blog post ready. I spent most of the morning fighting to get to the nature center before the hot part of the day… and it wasn’t enough. By the time I got there, all the animals were hidden away out of sight, and even most of the birds were gone. I think they probably sneaked into houses with air conditioning, and spent the day masquerading as comfortable parrots. Bug spray and sunscreen for absolutely no reason. Not so much as an elk.

Tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter, even sooner.
