I have now reached the halfway mark in this year’s Nanowrimo, and I have enough words to say that I’m half way to the 50,000 word point. I’ve kept up my schedule.
I’ve also gotten my annual ML apology for vanishing. (Every year right around this time. I think the truth is that we’re too spread out to be a region in the first place.)
I find myself gravitating toward just one or two of the projects I’m working on, so the others wind up on the back burner by default. I’m also getting much more solid chunks than I did last year, or the year before when I was staring at a blank page with nowhere to go.
I have not been fiddling around with technology this year. I’ve given up any pretense that I’ll get over the learning curve on Scrivener, at least… not during Nano.
So, how’s it going for you?
