The Bat Is Back

I’m pretty sure this is the bat who tried to eat me, the other day. Found him hanging out on the bricks this afternoon. You can see his widdle sides going in and out with his breathing.

Bat, sleeping upsidedown

Isn’t he adorable terrifying. I mean terrifying.

We’re getting to be good friends. He even posed for a few more pictures. Probably less than two inches long. The wingspan would be bigger. Days like today, you kinda think he ought to be wearing Bermuda shorts and sandals. I’m sitting around sweating, too.

A bat landed on me once, right on my back. I immediately started screaming like a small child. It was simultaneously the scariest and most embarrassing moment in my life.
